Visit Our 2007 News Archive 17th December 2008 - Many thanks to all our customers for trusting us to supply their requirements during the past year. We hope we have lived up to your expectations. We are taking a short break, closing at 4:30pm 23rd of December and re-opening on Monday 12th of January. BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE FOR CHRISTMAS!! 23rd October 2008 - Christmas is fast approaching and
we have released a brand new christmas mould. Santa in his sled.
This mould has two cavities, the second is mirrored from the first
to allow two castings to be glued back to back, making a 3d model
of santa and his sled.
22nd October 2008 - We have added a new section to our website will be very popular I'm sure. We will now have monthly specials running in the top right hand corner of our website. Keep checking back for new specials which we will regularly run.
2nd October 2008 - We have released a new concrete garden
edging mould.
24th September 2008 - Today we have released our second
polyU concrete garden rubber paver mould. An ever popular simple
tile patter in a 300x300mm paver size.
23rd September 2008 - We have listed a new range of products
on our shopping cart which will appeal to the jewellery maker.
Polymer Clay. This popular medium comes in a range of 17 colours
and we even have an instructional book available.
18th September 2008 - We have just completed another "how
to" video. This one is aimed at all the resin jewellery makers
out there. In this video we describe our methods of making a silicone
mould of a ring and casting the ring with resin. We also go into
how to achieve a perfect finish and removal of seam lines in castings.
17th September 2008 - It has been a long time in the works
but today we have release our very first durable PolyU rubber
concrete paver mould. At the request of a customer we have done
a euro cobble design in the 300x300mm size.
15th September 2008 - By popular demand we have listed
an 11 piece jewellery mould on our internet store. We've been
receiving requests for this mould for a long time and we can now
finally supply this mould at the great price of $11.95.
We've recieved some more positive feedback from one of our customers today: WOW!!! Now that's what I call service!!! Thanks a lot and I'll be looking for it. Thanks again, Shandi. Many thanks for the positive feedback Shandi.
4th September 2008 - We've put this article together to
show you how you can achieve a perfect glassy surface on all your
resin jewellery pieces.
25th August 2008 - A member of our online mould making
forum want to know how to reproduce small head carvings. In response
to his question we have produced a video taking you step by step
through the process of making a silicone mould and producing a
Cold Casted bronze duplicate of a small toy soldier.
25th August 2008 - Monday mornings can be a dreary time however we just received this emailand it cheered us all up immensly. Thanks for the kind thought. new addition to our website. Videos! We have a new section call
Aldax 'How to' Videos which is located under the Tech Tips &
Info tab at the top of the page and also in the "Aldax Makes
It Easy" menu on the left hand side. We will be adding new
videos to this page on a regular basis so keep checking for updates.
21st August 2008 - A week or so ago, we had a call from
one of our valued customers asking if we had any pirate moulds.
To our surprise we didn't!! We thought we better add one quickly
to our range and have come up with this scary pirate skull. The
boys will love it.
19th August 2008 - We have released a brand new Dragon
Plastic hobby mould. Each dragon measures 7x8cm and there are
2 dragons per mould
1st August 2008 - Today we've boosted our tech tip library
with 8 brand new articles! We have 7 articles which cover the
various uses of latex moulds and how to make money$$ with them
and an article about making 2 part silicone moulds. A much requested
article!
16th July 2008 - Glass Etching Stencils are now available
in themed packs containing 3 stencil sheets that can be used individually
or combined together. They cover such areas as weddings, season
greetings, floral, romantic, rose and many other designs. They
are used with Armour Etching Cream to provide a safe and easy
way to etch glass mirrors and other glass objects.
25th June 2008 - We have just released a brand new Poly
U Rubber Concrete Mould. Here we have a cobble stone mould with
3 cavities. We have used natural stone in the creation of these
moulds to give you an extremely true to life representation of
natural cobble stones.
23rd June 2008 - You may have noticed changes
to our website. Joseph has been working very hard for the past
2 months to make it easier to use. We now have 3 websites with
an exciting new website "Moulds4Concrete" being prepared
to carry our greatly expanding range of decorative concrete moulds
and impression mats.
13th May 2008 - Are you thinking about starting
a very profitable Plaster Painting business or just want to start
a new hobby? Our latest kit will give you all you need to get
started with 10 plastic moulds, 2kg of moulding plaster, instructions
and a FREE frangipani mould.
22nd April 2008 - We have just release not 1, not 2 but
3 brand new plastic hobby moulds! The butterfly should be popular
and the guitar adds a bit of music to our moulds.
1st April 2008 - New! Gnome Plaster Mould. Our first and long overdue gnome plaster mould. It costs cents to make and you can make dollars selling the whiteware for plaster painting. Joan dry brushed the sample we made for the picture but plain colour works well for gnomes, often the more garish the better. The size is 10x15cm or 4”x6” a nice size for the young ones. Could make a happy plaque with a hook on the back to hang in some young child’s room.Click here for more information->
31st March 2008 - A beautiful new series of silicone soap moulds are about to be released. Featuring fine detailed designs, they are the start of a new era in custom soap making. Click here for more information->
27th March 2008 - Introducing our first POLY U mould.
Reproduce natural stone in all its detail with our brand new,
long lasting rubber moulds.
12th March 2008 - We have just machined up a brand new
Owl mould. The detail on this mould is amazing.
26th February 2008 -Aldax has gone "Out of Space"
with our very first Science Fiction Alien Mould. This should be
very popular with the boys.
21st February 2008 -After many months of promising a medium
size to our popular level caster we have finally delivered.
20th February 2008 -We have just manufactured our very
first Garden Edging Mould.
30th January 2008 -Check out our brand new parrot mould.
29th January 2008 -It has been a long time in the making
