1st April 2008 - New! Gnome Plaster Mould.
Our first and long overdue gnome plaster mould. It
costs cents to make and you can make dollars selling the whiteware
for plaster painting. Joan dry brushed the sample we made for the
picture but plain colour works well for gnomes, often the more garish
the better.
The size is 10x15cm or 4”x6” a nice size
for the young ones. Could make a happy plaque with a hook on the
back to hang in some young child’s room.Click

14th January 2008 - Our Bew Blog!
Each week we receive hundreds of queries and we thought a selection
of these could form the basis of a very interesting Blog. Mouldmaking
and casting is based on the use of RTV rubbers and polymer resins
products that are mainly designed for industrial usage.
This means that most of the available literature is technical in
nature and we find that our most important job is in translating
this information into plain everyday English and explaining what
rubber or resin can be used for your special project. You are not
particularly interested in the product itself just in what it can
do for you and how to use it safely for your particular application.
New kits and e-books are on the way, all designed to give you an
end result in the easiest possible way. Hopefully our blog will
show the type of project in which you are interested and what we
are doing to help you. Please feel free to add your comments to
blog entries. There is always someone out there who has something
we have never heard about or a different way of achieving a result
to the method we have suggested. We can all learn from as big an
input as possible.
